The school offers classes in ballet, tap, modern and jazz dance for boys and girls from 3 years of age.
Ballet pupils study the syllabus set by the Royal Academy of Dancing. Likewise, pupils taking tap, modern and jazz, study the syllabi set by the Imperial Society of Dancing.
Pupils attend dancing classes for fun and exercise, but can take examinations if they wish to. Examinations are held regularly, where pupils consistently gain high levels of achievement. The school takes pride in the fact that 100% pass mark is always achieved.
We also put on shows, where pupils perform a variety of dances to different audiences.
Many pupils take part in local pantomimes and perform regularly with the English Youth Ballet and the London Childrens Ballet: these include Rumplestiltskin, Giselle, the Nutcracker and the Little Princess.
We also have junior and senior associates of the royal Academy of Dance.

ISTD 2012 OLYMPIC MEDAL
The ISTD have teamed up with London 2012 Olympic committee and created their own Olympic award examination.
Unlike other exams, this only consists of two contrasting dance solos and a commemorative limited edition medal award, report and certificate.
Pupils have to present two dances from different genres, lasting one to one and a half minutes. To enter for this exam pupils need to be Grade 1 and above.
In the next exam session in September, pupils have the opportunity to be entered for this award as well as other tap and modern exams later in the term should they have reached the required standard. Priority will be given to the Olympic Medal exams in the first exam session.
