FEES

Fees can be paid, weekly, half–termly or termly; it is entirely up to you.  

If you wish to pay by the term instead of weekly please let me know.  (If you pay by the term you are given a reduction equivalent to the cost of one normal dancing class – e.g. 12 week term you only pay for 11 weeks).

Uniform

Please make sure that items such as shoes and crossovers are clearly labelled with your son/daughter’s name.  We have had several incidents lately, where shoes are muddled up (particularly jazz shoes), and pupils left with shoes that do not fit.

All hair should be in a bun for ballett.

News

English Youth Ballet  - Nutcracker

After auditions  Fraser Buchanan, Kerri Briggs, Emily Walton, Sian Bennett and Lydia Mackett were all chosen to take part  in the English Youth Ballet performance of the Nutcracker on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th October at the Kings Theatre Southsea.  Well done to you all.

Show

The children are learning dances for our next show.  I am not sure when this will take place.  I will let you know dates shortly.

Reminders

A few issues have been brought to my attention recently by School Community Staff, which are listed below:-

· Food should not be eaten in corridors .

· Children should not be left to play around the school stairs, corridors and outside the building.

· Bikes, scooters and skateboards should not be used in the corridors.

· Laptops should not be plugged in and used in the corridors.

It is important that children are kept safe, therefore can I please remind you that:

· Children are your responsibility whilst waiting for their class - not mine!!!!  Please make sure you  know where they are and what they are doing.

· Please make sure I have updated contact details in case of an emergency.

· Children should not be dropped off and  left unattended in the corridor to wait for their class.

Exams

Another session of tap and modern exams will be held this term - providing we have enough pupils and an examiner available.

Pupils do not have to take exams, it is entirely up to you.

 The next ballet session will be March 2012.

Bridgemary Carnival 2011

Thankyou to all who turned up in the rain and took part in the Carnival - you were all fantastic, both in the procession and the dancing in the gym.  Well done.

Despite the weather we did have a brilliant day!!!!
